And…we’re about to get into the real meat of the story! Hopefully you will enjoy the road ahead!

Pulse is back! Since Sonic Eggs still isn’t read, Saturday will see the next page in Tales from the Emerald Coast.
This page was drawn by JetstreamX and colored by Kichi!
As of today, ECC is resuming it’s daily updates. Bumbleking is back, so we’ll at least get some discussion regarding our hardwork!
Now, the temporary down time of Bumbleking has made it clear that ECC needs to branch out to other sites. So we’d like to put out a call to our fans to begin posting about whatever ECC comic YOU enjoy on other forums. Just don’t spam it, and be respectful.
Without further ado, here’s the new Pulse page.
Now, as some of you may know, Sonic Eggs’ second issue has come to a close. As usual, there will be a gap between issues of about a month, so expect the new issue in late March or early April. Until then, the next issue of Tales from the Emerald Coast, “Alone” starring Blaze will be taking up Eggs’ Saturday slot.
No surprise for you guys, I hope. Like every page in this comic, it was drawn and inked by head artist JetstreamX. It’s colored by ECC’s resident Brit Shadow Prime.
By now, you guys should have a good indication of where I’m going with Rob and Fiona. They are not villains, as some have surmised, but in fact freedom fighters. I was¬† a bit surprised to hear people think they where villains, but I guess the whole “bank robbing” thing was going to make them look that way, at least for a bit.
As you can also see, my lame attempts at emulating Archie Rob’s “olde english” way of speaking have been put to rest. Yay! All in all I was never very happy with the writing in this page, but the stellar lines and coloring hopefully make up for it, eh?
A combination of computer problems and a lack of a certain someone updating the Tales page has again kept us from our regular update schedule this week, but here’s the new Sonic Pulse!
New page of Pulse is up. Check it out and let us know what you think!
So far, every issue of Sonic Pulse has been an absolute slog to get done. Most of this issue was finished over the summer, but constant little things, like uncolored or missing pages kept slowing it down. The first two pages had to be completely redone, various pages where recolored and relettered, and as the script became older and it’s flaws more apparent, I had to constantly try to rewrite words and change or add plot points with the panels already done.
For the most part, I don’t think it’s turned out too bad. Certainly better then the first issue in every way imaginable.
Sonic Pulse also marks the third series to join ECC’s weekly line up, this time as a twice – a week comic. The next page will be on Wednesday, and from there on you can expect a Pulse page every Monday and Wednesday for the foreseeable future. I do hope you like what we have in store!
Sonic Pulse is a comic meant to be set in the game continuity. It adapts elements from the Archie verse into the game canon, and fills in time and plotholes between the various games. The current storyline takes place between Sonic CD and Sonic 3. This means we’ll be seeing some classic badniks, some classic character designs, as well as various other things from the old games! Of course, it also has aspects from the new games, such as the city of Spagonia, and also brings in things from the Archie canon, such as using Swatbots as a precursor to Robotnik’s Egg Pawn ground troops.
Enough of my prattling though! Check out the comic and tell us what you think. If you wish to start from the beginning you can click the Pulse button to your left. If you want to start with issue 2, please click here!
Wow, been awhile since I’ve actually posted, hasn’t it?
While the front page hasn’t made it obvious, we’ve actually had ECC’s first ever “holiday special” running this week: a five page Sonic Eggs Holiday Special from Tracy Yardley. Or Christmas special. I don’t really know. I’m Jewish and even I don’t really give a fig. Regardless, that’s been running this week, and we’ve got one more page lined up for Christmas Eve.
But that’s not all we got in store. I do believe I’ve said this before, but now I speak with said work actually done. Next week will see the launch of not one, not two, but THREE comics, which will each be released bi weekly for the forseable future. The new Redux, a new MEC which has been heavily edited to ensure it’s writing is a step up from past issues, and finally the second issue of ECC’s supposed flagship comic, Sonic Pulse. Hopefully you all will like this one. Lord knows even I don’t particularly care for my writing in the original.
With that said, some updates on a few other series. Staffers, despite having numerous scripts in the pipe, some of which where honestly genuinely making me laugh, has all but died. If any cartoonist out there cares to join us and revive it, we will welcome you. The Tales from the Emerald Coast story Tales of the Great War will continue it’s hiatus until the new year, where it will return to a twice weekly schedule until the issue has run it’s course. We are doing everything we can to make sure the lag time between issues isn’t too long, so sit tight! We may actually have another one off Tales series in the vein of the first issue in the pipe, but we’ll have to see where that goes. Until then, I leave you with a rather obvious teaser image about it’s subject matter.
Till next time, rubes!
The moment everyone has been waiting for…. *drumroll*
Enjoy! Be sure to leave comments if you love it!  Or if you like it!  Or if you hate it even.. but you might hurt peoples feelings!
