Yo guys. Jet here. If you haven’t noticed, we got a brand spanking new layout born from the minds of Shadiwulf and myself. Awesome right? Right. We have all kinda things like the box on the right hand side to take you to the latest issue of our comics. Also, we’ve moved the link to our comic portals to a drop down menu in our main navigation bar. Just hover over the word comic. Simple as that!

You can also log on, see who’s logged on, and vote on our poll! Speaking of polls, check out our new one. It’s for our layout. Vote on what you think

We have made a few internal changes to the internal operating of ECC.  Currently everyone has a broken avatar.

Normal members, you will need to upload your avatar to a site such as http://tinypic.com and link to it through your profile.

ECC Staff will be required to upload their avatar through the ECC boards.

Size limit is 100 by 100 pixels for everyone.

I have been messing around with SMF 2.0 RC1 all night because I’m a geeky like that, and it got me thinking. SMF 2.0 is really awesome and has a lot of awesome features. I think when SMF 2.0 RC2 goes public that ECC should update to it. SMF 2.0 is obviously stable enough. SimpleMachines is using it as their forum software for their official forum. They wouldn’t be using it if they weren’t confident in it being stable. SimpleMachine is the developers of SMF after all =P

So, what features would you personally want added when ECC’s forums get upgraded to SMF 2? You can say anything you think of, nothing is stupid. If it is something that SMF 2 supports by default I will tell you. I would also like to know what kind of features you would like to see on the ECC site in the future. The site is capable of being tons more awesome, but we need a solid plan in order for it be successful. Any theme/graphic related suggestions are good too. I would like this to be a healthy discussion panel where anything related to the ECC site or forums can be discussed.
