ECC Is Back With New Pulse Page!

February 25th, 2011 by

As of today, ECC is resuming it’s daily updates. Bumbleking is back, so we’ll at least get some discussion regarding our hardwork!

Now, the temporary down time of Bumbleking has made it clear that ECC needs to branch out to other sites. So we’d like to put out a call to our fans to begin posting about whatever ECC comic YOU enjoy on other forums. Just don’t spam it, and be respectful.

Without further ado, here’s the new Pulse page.

Now, as some of you may know, Sonic Eggs’ second issue has come to a close. As usual, there will be a gap between issues of about a month, so expect the new issue in late March or early April. Until then, the next issue of Tales from the Emerald Coast, “Alone” starring Blaze will be taking up Eggs’ Saturday slot.

Holding Off On Updates For a Bit

February 16th, 2011 by

Every time it looks like we’re about to start doing these updates regularly, something happens to cause things to hold off. This time, it’s because the Bumbleking forums are down.

The only community where we have any real hold, it’s the primary place we post the comics in, and since very few people visit their site in and of itself regularly, it doesn’t seem to make sense to do updates no one is going to read. So until the BK forums come back up, we’ll be holding off on further releases.

That being said, this is the perfect time to make your voice heard. If I’m wrong about this, go ahead and let us know in the comments below. Don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll be back to doing regular updates soon.

Sonic Pulse Updated!

February 15th, 2011 by

No surprise for you guys, I hope. Like every page in this comic, it was drawn and inked by head artist JetstreamX. It’s colored by ECC’s resident Brit Shadow Prime.

By now, you guys should have a good indication of where I’m going with Rob and Fiona. They are not villains, as some have surmised, but in fact freedom fighters. I was  a bit surprised to hear people think they where villains, but I guess the whole “bank robbing” thing was going to make them look that way, at least for a bit.

As you can also see, my lame attempts at emulating Archie Rob’s “olde english” way of speaking have been put to rest. Yay! All in all I was never very happy with the writing in this page, but the stellar lines and coloring hopefully make up for it, eh?

Knux Redux #4 Page VII

February 13th, 2011 by

New page of Redux is up guys, go take a look!

Things are gonna get uglier than that new Spyro.

February 12th, 2011 by

Oh Noes!!

Well, today’s the final page of issue 2 and we end on a cliffhanger! Will Knuckles survive such a brutal stabbing?!! Sorry to say that you shouldn’t expect a new page next week and I’ve only scripted a few pages and the art hasn’t been started on it yet. Also, I don’t know how long until the cover of issue 3 is done. Snax is working on it right now.

In the meantime I am scripting a short story starring Marine. It’s a kind of prologue to Treasure Team Tango. If I can get an artist on that, it might act as a buffer between issues.

Credit on this page goes to the usual gang. Jet on the art. Big Al Son on Colors and Q on the letters.

Sonic Pulse Updated!

A combination of computer problems and a lack of a certain someone updating the Tales page has again kept us from our regular update schedule this week, but here’s the new Sonic Pulse!

Next page of Redux is now up! With this release we resume our daily updates. Apologies for the pause. Check out the link to issue 4 in the side bar!

“Sonar”, yet so far

February 5th, 2011 by

Hey, it’s the cover page!

Hope you Rouge fans enjoy seeing her use her sonar. Something she’s never done in the games or comics but would be a normal power for a bat to have. Expect Eggman’s ignorance of the Chaos inhibitors to have a great impact in the future.

Thanks again goes to Jet for the art, Big Al Son for the colors and Q for the letters.

Be here next week for the final page of issue 2 and a big cliffhanger!
